simPRO Software develops field service management software solutions for the trade and service industries, with clients ranging from small contracting businesses through to large enterprises.
Servicing primarily the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, solar, fire and security industries, simPRO Software's range of SaaS (Software as a Service) cloud solutions provide an integrated platform to automate and manage key workflow and business operations, such as quoting and estimating, scheduling and dispatch, invoicing, and stock and inventory management.
As at March 2017, simPRO Software has approximately 4,000 clients and 90,000 users worldwide. The company is a private company and has offices in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

History
simPRO Software was founded in 2002 in Brisbane, Australia, when co-founder Stephen Bradshaw, an electrical contractor, began working on a solution for managing his growing trade services business with co-founder Vaughan McKillop, a software engineer. The company first started trading as Acorn Software and Service Management Pty Ltd in 2003, then changed its name to simPRO Software in 2011.
Management
Mark Alfred is currently General Manager for simPRO Australia. In 2009, simPRO was launched in the United Kingdom, and Lynelle Hills was appointed Managing Director. In 2015, the company opened an office in Colorado, United States, in an effort to launch its business management solutions in up to four states and grow its presence in the local market. And in 2016, Richard Pratley was appointed General Manager for simPRO New Zealand.
As at March 2017, the simPRO Software Board of Management and Executive Team has seven members: Chief Executive Officer Brad Couper, Chief Operational and Financial Officer Alan Bignell, Chief Commercial Officer Vanessa Winter, Chief Technology Officer Jonathan Eastgate, Executive Financial Controller Rhiza Lahoylahoy and Chief Learning and Development Officer Erika Entz.

In October 2016, simPRO Software received USD$31 million in capital funding from New York-based growth equity firm Level Equity. It marked the first time the company has accepted external investment since its founding.

Mergers and acquisitions
In 2013, simPRO acquired vehicle fleet tracking and management company simTRAC for AUD$2.5 million, which is designed to help business managers monitor their work vehicles on the road in real time and minimise travel times.
Features and services
simPRO's key features include quoting and estimating, scheduling, service and project management, inventory management, asset maintenance and invoicing and payment processing. Integration with accounting software is designed to eliminate double entry of data, provide transfer of financial data, and assist with financial reporting.
simPRO's mobile applications can be used on smartphones and tablets (iOS and Android operation systems) to keep remote staff connected with the office. With the simPRO Connect app, field users can process payment after a job complete with a customer's credit card. The simPRO eForms app can be used to digitise a company's existing paper forms for use in the field.
simPRO Software's support network offers global assistance via phone, online chat, and email. Free webinars are also available to help users understand the software's functionality and features.

simPRO Software integrates with a range of third-party applications, such as cloud accounting software Sage, Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks, IT services such as AppsWiz compliance apps such as New Zealand's CERTIFi, and marketing apps such as the United Kingdom's online Marketplace Rated People.

simPRO partners with local industry trade associations worldwide, such as ASIAL (Australian Security Industry Association Limited), NZSA (New Zealand Security Association), and the ESA (Electronic Security Association) in the United States.
Charity involvement
In April 2016, simPRO Software Australia participated in non-government organisation Youngcare's Simpson Desert trek to raise money for young Australians with high care needs.
The simPRO Australia General Manager trekked approximately 250 km across the Simpson Desert in central Australia. He raised a total of AUD$35,000.55 for the cause.
